- The ODE (Optimized Design Experiece) story based on Live BW model always shows the select filter value as English in SAP Analytics Cloud
- The same problem doesn't occur when using Classic Design Experience story.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.8
Reproducing the Issue
- Define a Live BW connection in SAP Analytics Cloud. To make the behavior clear, using a non-English language as the Default Language. Such as, Chinese, Korean or Japanese.
- Based on this Live BW connection create a model, make sure this model based Bex query contains a variable for 0CALMONTH.
- Create a new ODE story to use this model.
- Select a value for this variable. In Select Member dialog, confirm that it shows Description as the specified language text.
- Choose the value, apply the filter.
- Notice in the filter bar, the selected value displayed in the filter bar is changing as English. Such as JAN 2023.
Cause
