3360987 - Job Application Standard Date Fields Showing Wrong Value - Recruiting Management

Symptom

On the Job Application or Offer Page there are some standard date fields such as Application Date, Review Date, Last Modified Date, Employee Referral Date, and Assessment Integration (Historical Results portlet) which are showing the incorrect date. The value is showing one day earlier/later than the expected date.

Example: Date should be showing as 18/07/2023 but it is showing as 17/07/2023.

Cause

This is caused by the migration of the data center server timezone being migrated to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This is a known issue and it has been identified and reported to the engineering team.

DC 30 (Shanghai) is migrated to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)on

Friday, 4th Aug 2023 - Preview

Friday, 1st Sep 2023 - Production

Resolution

Engineering have already identified this as a defect from the UTC migration and are already working on a fix.

Engineering are planning to have this issue fixed via patch release on:

Preview:  4th September 2023

Production: 7th September 2023.
