3360995 - Difference between Status and Requisition Status fields in a job requisition - Recruiting Management

Symptom

This article explains the difference between Status and Requisition Status fields in a job requisition.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Resolution

The difference between the two is that the field Status refers to the status they configure in the job requisition, the one that has several values and is a reference to the Recruiting users. Requisition Status, on the other hand, is a system status and is a reference to the system to understand if it's pre-approved (still in the route map), approved (already opened and ready to receive candidates' applications) or closed.

The "Status" field has several values in the dropdown, and those are configured through picklists, while the "Requisition Status" values are not configurable and are a reference to the system.
