3361019 - When converting a Classic story to an Optimized Design Experience story within SAP Analytics Cloud it is not possible to add a button to the story

When converting an existing story from a 'Classic' story to an 'Optimized Design Experience' story the 'Button' option to add a button to the story does not exist.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 

• Convert a story from the 'Classic' story format to the 'Optimized Design Experience' story format
• Edit the story
• Go to the Add section and view the options available
• The 'Button' option is not seen

When converting a 'Classic Story' based on the 'Canvas' this will have the 'Add button' option available after the story is converted to an 'Optimized Design Experience' story.
- The only requirement is that the 'Advanced Mode' option needs to be enabled for the 'Add Button' option to be seen within the 'Optimized Design Experience' story.

When converting a 'Classic Story' based on the 'Responsive' this will not have the 'Add button' option available after the story is converted to an 'Optimized Design Experience' story (even if the 'Advanced Mode' option is active)
- This is due to a limitation that all scripting-related widgets and technical objects are not supported with the 'Responsive Classic Story' as listed within the SAP Analytics Cloud online help.

• There was new functionality added in the QRC4 2023 update that enhanced the responsive page conversion.
  - Refer to the SAP Analytics Cloud roadmap information for 2023 QRC4 related to the responsive page.

  • Convert the classic story responsive page to the optimized design experience, and obtain support from the following features:
    - Scripting
    - Pause refresh options
    - Pop-up
    - Responsive rule configuration
    - Device preview
    - Data change insights
    
    
• If the 'Classic' story no longer exist, there should be an option within the responsive story that was already migrated to the Optimized Design Experience.
  a) Open the story
  b) Go to the 'Edit Mode'
  c) Click on the 'Convert Responsive Page' option.
  d) Click the 'Convert' button in the dialog box that appears.
  e) The story should then have the 'button' available to add to the page.
