SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub

• Sync issue between Job Description Manager and Job Profile Builder
• The competency library was defined in a language which is different from the system Default Language

During Job Description Manager to Job Profile Builder migration, a mapping entity is created to store the Job Description Manager and Job Profile Builder reference IDs. Sometimes, due to technical issues, mapping for some of the Job Description Manager references is not created in the system.

Re-run the JDM to JPB Migration in Provisioning

As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. Please engage a Certified Partner to implement the fix. If you don't have a Certified Partner, you can look for one using 2149831 - SAP Professional Services / SAP Certified Partner / SAP Account Management Team [SuccessFactors Cloud].

1. In Provisioning, select Company Settings
2. Under JDM v2.0/Skills Management, click Migrate
3. Provide an admin user as Job Owner, and run the job
4. Click on the company system name link to navigate back to the Provisioning landing page
5. Click on Monitor Jobs
6. For Job Type, select JDM Old to New Sync > Search to verify the job completed successfully

The competency library was defined in a language which is different from the system Default Language

Prerequisites

• You've downloaded the errors from the Check Tool
• You've downloaded the Role-Mapped Competencies file to confirm the competencies from the Check Tool have not been used

Steps

1. Log in to Provisioning
2. Select the company name
3. Select Company Settings
4. Scroll down to the very bottom of the screen to the Library Name section
5. Take note of the language the library was created in e.g., French
   
6. Select Ctrl+F to locate the Default Language dropdown
7. Change the Default Language dropdown to the language the library was created in (e.g., French) > Save Default Language
8. Enter the Company Id > Confirm
9. Scroll all the way to the top of the page and select the company name link in the upper left-hand corner
10. Navigate to Managing Competencies and Skills > Competency Libraries
11. Select the library name
12. Locate one of the competencies from the Check Tool file > select the competency > scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete
13. Repeat Step 12 for each competency and rerun the Check Tool to confirm the errors have been resolved
