3361220 - Nickname Appears in Header Ribbon of Personnel File

Nickname appears in header ribbon of personnel file although no value of nickname field is present in Biographical Data tab.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center
2. Go to Employees view
3. Search for the employee
4. Edit the Employee data
5. Select View All button
6. Go to Personal Data tab and Biographical Data sub tab  
7. Not Able to find the Nickname field 
8. But the nickname value is present in name ribbon 

The nickname in header ribbon of personnel file is fetching data from migration of employee file where the nickname value is maintained.

You have enabled nickname in fine tuning activity "Maintain Name Formats" for the particular country and performed the migration of employee via migration workbench and have given the value for field nickname.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Overview view
3. Show Activities and find the activity General Business Partners 
4. Open the activity and select Maintain Name Formats
5. Select the required country
6. At the bottom of the screen in the Details of Name Format for the respective country ,you can find nickname

Now,

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Go to Overview view
3. Show Activities and find the activity "Migration of employees"
4. Search for particular migration file 
5. Here you can find for employee , nickname value is maintained

This is the expected system behavior. This is not possible to change once the employees with nickname field values are migrated.
