3361353 - Error when changing Standard Hierarchy in Manage Cost Center Groups

You want to create a Child Group in the Standard Hierarchy that contains a special character, but the error below is returned - 

500 Internal Server Error
Name 0227-TT-DO.0 is invalid (Message E OH 012)

SAP S/4 Hana Cloud

• Access App - Manage Cost Center Groups 
• Edit the Cost Center group 0001, Standard Hierarchy 
• Add a new Child Group with a special character and click OK
• Error appears

This occurs as end users are restricted from entering special characters such as '.' in name of group under standard hierarchy.

The suffixes along with other special characters can be created by the system from Manage Cost Center Group application, for example by copying the hierarchy with suffix through Manage Cost Center Group app.
