The scoping Question: 'Do you want to extend the posting period beyond 6 months?' is grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Choose next and navigate Questions tab.
4. Select the element of Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics.
5. Choose sub element of Inventory Management.
6. Select Inventory Postings.
7. The scoping question: Do you want to extend the posting period beyond 6 months? checkbox is grayed out.

The checkbox is greyed out as the question have dependency of quality assurance in the Scope tab.

To enable the checkbox, follow the below steps:

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Choose next and navigate Scoping tab.
4. Select the element of manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics.
5. Go to element of Quality assurance and enable the check box, automatically quality control and quality planning get enabled.
6. Select Inventory Postings and choose next
7. Enable the check box for the Question: Do you want to extend the posting period beyond 6 months?
