Resolution

A Standard Object Token can populate the 'Name' only. It cannot populate the 'externalCode'.

The behavior is the same if you use a custom token by associating the Standard Object Field ID.

As a workaround, you can create a custom Text field to store the externalCode.

Workaround:

  1. Create a custom Text type field in the Job Requisition template;
  2. Use a business rule to set the field value to be equal to the externalCode of the object field;
  3. Set a custom token for the Text field;
  4. Insert the token in your email template.
