3362351 - "The data action couldn't run because of a problem with the data action trigger. Please check its configuration." suddenly happens in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

The following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

• The data action couldn't run because of a problem with the data action trigger. Please check its configuration.

The data actions were working fine in the past. The issue suddenly happens with some data actions.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 

1. Run a data action from the story.

The Date parameter in the data action and the value passed from the story in the runtime are using the different hierarchies.

For example, the parameter Date is configured to use hierarchy "Fiscal year, Period". However, the value passed from the story filter uses the hierarchy "Fiscal year, Quarter, Period". This is not supported (only parameters configured with hierarchy "Any" accept all hierarchies). What could be the reasons that there is such an inconsistency with regard to the hierarchies used:

• the data action parameter configuration was changed 
• the story filter or the story itself was changed 
• the model was changed with regard to the default hierarchies of the date dimension

Make sure the parameter in the data action and the value passed from the story in the runtime are of the same hierarchy.
