3362419 - CPQ Developer Console - How Duration Works

Symptom

Developer Console duration is different from Network timings.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Developer Console and Dev Tools;
  2. Change anything inside CPQ or load a page in CPQ;
  3. See the duration inside Developer Console is different from the network timings.

Cause

This is an expected behavior from CPQ Developer Console.

Resolution

Developer Console only displays actions performed inside SAP CPQ while network timings display features that can increase the duration, like "content downloaded" and "waiting for server response".
