3362557 - Unable to Update Data via Migration Tool

You are trying to update Suppliers's data or any other Object via Migration Tool using the Enhance mode, although there is no error message, the data is not being created in the system.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Then go to the Overview view.
3. Search for the activity Migration of Suppliers, for example, and open it.
4. Click Migrate suppliers using the migration tool.
5. Select the Template and click Execute Migration > Step by Step.
6. Execute all the steps, no error will appear.
7. Then check in the front end to confirm if the data was updated.

This scenario might be occurring because the Supplier ID maintained in the excel was coverted to an Internal ID during the initial migration. With that, the system updated the data over a different ID (Target ID).

To check the Conversion Values, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Then go to the Overview view.
3. Search for the activity Migration of Suppliers, for example, and open it.
4. SHow Completed File or All Files.
5. In the Action button, select the option Download Value Conversion.
6. The system will download a txt file where you can check the real ID that got updated.

This is the expected system behavior, as it was configured during the Initial Migration process.
