3362560 - Problem when saving PDF in Web Dynpro ABAP

Symptom

  • When PDF document is set in the browser setting to "open in chrome" the file is displayed inplace as expected.
  • However, when the browser setting is set as "Download PDF" and the WD ABAP application is called, a PDF should be generated. Instead, the following message appears:
     "Due to browser or system restrictions, this PDF document cannot be displayed (for details, check the  PDF-viewer installation)"
  • InteractiveForm element in the Web Dynpro is used;
