3362717 - Order type not defaulted when creating maintenance plan despite assignment in Customizing

Symptom

  • An order type is already assigned to plan in specific planning plant which an equipment or functional location belong to.
  • When creating a maintenance plan for this equipment or functional location, the order type is not defaulted and system issues error message IP328 "Enter an order type" instead. 

  • The error can also occur when using the app F5325 - Manage Maintenance Plans or F5356 -Manage Maintenance Items .
