3363165 - IAS-based Onboardee users directed to SuccessFactors login page after logout

Symptom

Onboardee users directed to SuccessFactors native login page after log out, instead of configured Logout Redirect URL, even when using IAS for Onboardee authentication.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

Login to BizX with Onboarding user credentials, through IAS login page.
Click Log Out button in BizX.
User will be redirected to the BizX login page, instead of the logout redirect URL configured.

Cause

IAS integration is not formally enabled for Onboardees. Onboarding Identity Authentication setting in Provisioning is disabled.

As a result, when Onboarding users log out, SuccessFactors routes them to the external user specific flow involving the native login page, using pm_product_name=ONB parameter in URL.

Resolution

IAS integration should be formally enabled for Onboardees as below:

Admin Center -> Monitoring Tool for Identity Authentication Service -> Settings -> Apply to both Employee and Onboardee
