Error message appears once manager tries to save New Hire Data Review step:

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Cause 1: Lacks Read and Write/Edit permission for "globalInfo_country".

Cause 2: Global Information Entity is configured in Manage Business Configuration, but does not have any enabled Fields. 

Resolution for cause 1: Lacks Read and Write/Edit permission for "globalInfo_country".

Go to "View User Permission" for the affected user and look for permission "globalInfo_country" to confirm it is not granted in any role.
Now go to "Manage Permission" Roles for the respective permission > Employee Central Effective Dated Entities > "globalInfo_country" > Select Read and Write/Edit permission > Save.

Resolution for cause 2: For example 'gobalInfo_AUS' is enabled but there are no fields configured or they are ALL set to Enabled = No:

• At least one field has to be enabled with visibility View or Editable. 
• If you do not wish to use Global Information for this country then the Global Information Country should be disabled.
