3363535 - How to check the movement type update for consumption posting - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The movement type group configuration has been done. When trying to revaluate consumption postings with actual costing run, found the revaluation still goes to COC account.

The posting needs to be done after the configuration change.

For example, the movement type Z01 to be revaluated into original account, first make the configuration change in SSCUI 104390. Afterwards, the posting with movement type Z01 will take effects.
If the posting has been done before the configuration change, the revaluation will not work.

To check whether a posting was successfully reflected with the movement type group setting, follow below steps:

1. Check the consumption posting with app Material Price Analysis (enter from app Manage Material Valuations)

2. Double-click into the line, and you will go into the material document.

3. Double-click into the item line, and click the button "Material Update".

4. In the field "Mvmt Type Group" field, if the entry was successfully updates, it means the configuration change worked. If the field is blank, it means that maybe the posting was before the configuration change.
