3363561 - Empty name in admin alert list for Time Management alerts

Symptom

For any type of alert of Time Management, the name columns are shown empty in Admin Alerts.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Alerts tool.
  2. Select any alert type under Time Management.
  3. Then it is noticed empty names are shown.

Cause

This is due to missing configuration.

Resolution

In order to make sure a proper display of the User First Name and User Last Name in the list of alerts, please also make sure below permissions are properly assigned in RBP.
View permission (at least) to Employee Data > First Name and Last Name

Permission to General User Permission > Company Info Access > User Search

Please also ensure the target population is given to all employees.


Without above permission settings, the name of the employee in alert list will be empty.
