3363812 - Inbound delivery in status "blocked"- "The quantity of role "GR and Packed, Not GR Posted" is greater than the delivery quantity

Symptom

Inbound Delivery is blocked with message "The quantity of role "GR and Packed, Not GR Posted" is greater than the delivery quantity".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA CLOUD

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Inbound Delivery item is blocked;
  2. Press Check button.
  3. Message "The quantity of role "GR and Packed, Not GR Posted" is greater than the delivery quantity" is displayed.

Cause

One of the possible causes is that GR and Putaway was already posted for the item quantity but there is still stock assigned to the delivery item and this stock is packed into a "Planned" HU.

Resolution

To unpack the stock assigned to the Planned HU please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Change Inbound Deliveries APP;
  2. Select the inbound delivery and click in "Packing" button;
  3. Select the HU and press the "Empty" button.

After saving the changes the delivery should be unlocked.
