3364248 - Old settlement rule used even if rule has been updated

Symptom

Settlement rules have been maintained and the settlement has been run for object. After the settlement has been reversed and the rules updated. When the settlement is run again the updated settings are not taken into account.

Cause

This is standard functionality

Resolution

When you settle the same period again, the application will check if the entries required for the distribution rules already exist in the settlement history. If so, these will be applied – even if the settlement rule has been changed in the meantime.
