3364360 - Changing the field position/order in People Profile page for Localized HRIS Fields

This KB article explains how to change the field order of Employee Central blocks when in People Profile for Localized HRIS Fields.

What are Localized HRIS Fields?

Fields related to countries on drop-down list of:

• globalInfo;
• homeAddress;
• and jobInfo.

nationalIdCard is exception because only contains Formats for National ID.

Why using Follows Base Element Field?

By being required to change some field order, you will face that localized HIRS fields won't be moved by up and down arrows because those are localized.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Check how is the order of the fields for Job Information, for example, in People Profile;
   
   
   
2. If we choose to change FLSA Status field, for example, we would go to jobInfo drop-down on the left > jobInfo_USA, on Manage Business Configuration Page;
3. Then we would click on Take Action > Make correction > Down Arrow for FLSA Status > Save;
   
   
   
4. By double-checking Job Information portlet in People Profile again, we would see that FLSA Status field remain in the same position.

Localized HRIS Fields have a different behaviour from HRIS Fields into HRIS Elements.

1. Check how is the order of the fields for Job Information, for example, in People Profile;
   
   
   How we are using FLSA Status field, let's simulate to move this field to under Notes field;
2. Go to Manage Business Configuration;
3. Check what is the identifier for Notes field in jobInfo section because it's regular HRIS field;
   
   
   
4. Click on jobInfo drop-down on the left > jobInfo_USA;
5. Take Action > Make Correction;
6. Click on FLSA Status Details > Fill Follows Base Element Field with "notes" > Done > Save;
   
   
   
7. Check how is the order of the fields for Job Information in People Profile again.
