3364832 - How to define a Technical User to schedule IBP Jobs

In SAP IBP the business users are linked to an employee as described on the SAP Help Portal under - Create and Edit Business Users.

Jobs scheduled in SAP IBP have as owner the business user who scheduled the job and the jobs are executed using the authorization of that user.

The user/person who scheduled the jobs might change department within the company or leaves the company. To avoid the re-scheduling of the periodic jobs for these users.

You can set a “technical Job User” to schedule the jobs. The technical job user is a generic user and not linked to a real person.
