3365227 - ABAP-based UI5 apps fail to be opened in "SAP Build Workzone, standard edition"

Symptom

  • Launching a SAPUI5 app exposed from an ABAP backend system in "SAP Build Workzone, std edition" shows a blank screen or busy indicator.
  • The app works when executed in the ABAP backend´s Fiori Launchpad.
  • The console log of the browser´s developer tools shows errors such as:

or:
