3365401 - Reopening Production Orders that are in Status 'Closed'.

You Notice that when you navigate to a Production Order ABC with Status Closed, there is no option to reopen the Production Order.

(ABC represents the Production Order ID.)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Production Control Work Center.
2. Go to the Production Orders View.
3. Search for Production Order ID ABC.
4. You will see that it is in Production Order Status Closed.
5. You will also notice that there is no option to Reopen it.

It is not possible to Reopen a Production Order once it has been put into Status Closed.

This is an irreversible process that cannot be changed, A closed production order is not only irrelevant to logistics, but is also no longer subject to any kind of changes or confirmations.
