3365481 - Even if body contains error, quotes API is creating a Quote

Symptom

Even if body contains error, quotes API is creating a Quote.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ 

Reproducing the Issue

  • Create a Quote using /api/v1/quotes with an incorrect name of custom field in the body.

Resolution

  • API Service will return error 200 and a response body informing about the issue;
  • The error will be logged in Event Log;
  • Quote will be created, but empty.
