3366020 - Error BS051 "Create delivery not allowed (Sys. status Cost, object VB0000***)" occurs when creating the outbound delivery

When creating a delivery with reference to the sales order in VA02 or VL01N, error BS051 occurs: "Create delivery" not allowed (Sys. status Cost, object VB0000***).

It is suggested by the below two KBAs to carry out the costing:

• KBA 2877570 - Error BS051 while creating a Delivery from Sales Order
• KBA 2994466 - Error "Create delivery not allowed (Sys. Status Cost, object VB&)" (BS051) when creating an outbound delivery with reference to a sales order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

This article describes an alternate way to run the complete cycle for make-to-order process without sales order costing, when carrying out the costing for the sales order is not a preferred way.
