3366283 - System throws Error Message 'Certificate already exists'

When you are trying to upload the certificate, the system throws error message 'Certificate already exists'. 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application & User Management Work Center
2. Navigate to Certificate Trust List view 
3. Choose Edit Certificate Trust List view 
4. Select upload & Browse the Certificate
5. Select the relevant Certification Authority certificate
6. Choose Open & Add the File
7. Error Message : 'Certificate already exists'

The Error occurs because of below reasons:

1. When User tries to upload the same certificate which is already exist in the system.
2. The system behavior may be due to an inconsistency.

You have to verify the Certificates whether it is already exists or not.

Case 1:

If Certificate is already exists still you wants to upload the new Certificate, Follow below steps:

1. Select the Existing Certificate.
2. Delete it
3. Save the changes & Upload a new one

Case 2:

When you are trying to upload a new certificate but still getting the error message.

Please open a SAP incident by providing permission to perform backend Correction.
