3366345 - Error KI235 "Account XXXXXX requires an account assignment relevant to cost accounting" during Settlement

When running settlement with app "Run Settlement - Actuals", the error "Account XXXXXX requires an account assignment relevant to cost accounting" is triggered for the Cost Elements defined in the distribution rules, even though the sender is a Project.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

This happens due to a missing assignment, since project is the source of the settlement, and it's not relevant with the settlement cost element.

In order to avoid this error, you can use Configuration Activity / SSCUI "Manage Default Account Assignments" to assign a default assignment to the Cost Elements.
