3366443 - Tasks running in parallel fail after moving to Websocket RFC - SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services

Symptom

  • The following errors occur when running webRFC IBP tasks using the same tables in parallel:

    • RFC function call failed: <I: MESSAGE - Start Function Module /IBP/INTCPI_QUERY_FETCH_001 offset 1274000 thread 2 at <timestamp>>.
      I: MESSAGE - End Function Module /IBP/INTCPI_QUERY_FETCH_001 offset 1274000 thread 2 at <timestamp>.
      E: MESSAGE - Locking error when trying to update processing status of query. <timestamp>.

    • ERROR: Error creating RFC function </IBP/INTCPI_GET_PP_STAT_001>: <RFC_CLOSED- WebSocket Close frame : >. Notify Customer Support.

  • Recently moved from JDBC to Websocket RFC connection.
  • Process containing multiple dataflows takes longer time to execute, then previously because of longer running IBP functions.
