3366768 - Price Component Surcharge Cannot be Selected in the Item Pricing Section of a Sales Document

You are not able to add surcharges to Contracts, sales order or service orders in the Item pricing section since the price component surcharge does not appear in the drop down list.

SAP Business Bydesign

We will use Customer Contract as an example:

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Contracts view.
3. Open Contract XYZ(XYZ is the ID of the Contract).
4. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab.
5. In the Item Pricing section click on Add Row.
6. In the drop down list for Price Component the price component Surcharge is not available

The scoping element Surcharge is not in scope.

To activate the scoping element Surcharge in your solution scope you can use the following steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the respective implementation project and click on Edit Project Scope.
4. Navigate to the Questions step.
5. Select the path General Business Data -> Product and Service Pricing -> Sales Price Specifications
6. The following question needs to be active: Do you maintain surcharges?

Once you have activated the question and finished your changes you can find and configure the Surcharges in the fine tuning activity Configure Price Strategy:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the respective implementation project and click on Open Activity List
4. Navigate to the Fine Tune step.
5. Open fine tuning activity Configure Price Strategy.
6. Click on the Configure Pricing Procedure hyperlink.
7. Select Standard Gross Procedure if you want use Gross Surcharges
8. You can see that the Price Component Gross Surcharge is available in step 30 and 40.
9. However if you select the Standard Procedure, you can see the Surcharge in Step 13 and 14.
