3366802 - Special G/L Indicators Partially Missing

Symptom

This issue occurs with 2308 upgrade. In some apps, when the user uses Special G/L Transactions for Line Item Type as search conditions, some of the Special G/L Indicators items in value help are missing.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2308

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to "Reprocess Bank Statement Items" as an example.

2. Choose one bank statement item and click on arrow button in Reprocess column.

3. Click on "Select More", only choose "Special G/L Transactions" as "Line Item Type", and click value help button for Special G/L Indicators.

4. Only a few Special G/L Indicators displayed.

Resolution

2308 regression issue identified. This issue will be fixed in SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2402.

As a workaround, leave the special G/L indicators field blank and click on "OK" button. The system will select all kinds of the special G/L indicators as search result.

Then, manually find the items in the search result.

If there are too many line items in search result, click on the gear icon (shown below) and add Special G/L to the column.

Then, click on the column Special G/L and select sorting logic, so that the same Special G/L Indicators will be gathered together for easier browsing.
