3366839 - User cannot be found via People search

A user cannot be searched via People search by some users

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

1. Login to affected instance

2. Search for a user that exists in the system

3. User cannot be found however they can be found by other admins

User search permission is not assigned

Assign permission over the target users following below steps:

1. In Permission Role > Permission Settings

2. Go to General User Permissions

3. Assign company Info and User Search permissions

4. Save and grant role to the required group of users over the chosen target population

Note : “User search” is part of “Company info access” permission in RBP and cannot exist independently.
