Symptom
Agency user submitted an existing candidate with a new CV/resume file. However, the change record is not captured in Candidate Profile history.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Agency portal.
- Select a Job Requisition.
- Click Submit Existing Candidate in Action menu.
- Select an existing candidate and upload a new file.
- Click Submit Existing Candidate, then you can see the successful message.
- Go to Recruiting > Candidates.
- Search for the existing candidate and open the profile.
- The new CV file is available on the profile, but no change record in history.
Resolution
The product was not designed to capture such changes, so this is not a defect but rather an expected system behavior.
There is an ongoing internal task to change this behavior in the future, but currently there is no target date to deliver it.
