3367928 - Unable to edit finalized Preliminary Billing Document for services - S/4HANA Cloud

Preliminary Billing Document has been created for customer projects. The status of the document is 'Finalized', and there is no option to edit the document.

This is a standard system behavior.

When a preliminary billing document for services has reached its final form and no further changes are required, it is finalized to prevent most options for further changes.

When 'Finalized' Preliminary Billing Documents for services (PBD) is with Approval Status 'Not Relevant', only Long Text, output, attachment, and extensibility fields (if having) can be editable. Other fields are blocked from changing.

Editing 'Finalized' PBDs are not available in whose Approval Status is 'In approval', 'Released', or 'Rejected'. If, for some unexpected reason, it is necessary to make additional changes, the status can be set back to 'In progress' and make the required changes.

If the approval workflow has been implemented for a preliminary billing document for services, the approval workflow is automatically triggered after the preliminary billing document is finalized.
