3368065 - News Card On Homepage Is Greyed Out

Symptom

You have added the News card on the home page, however the new card is greyed out.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Home page.
2. Click on pencil to edit.
3. Start Adaptation.
4. Select the desired role.
5. Click on Add Cards.
6. Go to Add Existing Card.
7. Search for News and make it Available and Visible.
8. Leave Adaptation Mode.
9. News card is greyed out.

Cause

When adding the card, you did not add any RSS feed URL or any Bing API on News card settings.

Resolution

You need to provide the proper RSS feed URL or the Bing API.
Otherwise, the News card will stay greyed out.
