3368141 - Error handling for the "My profile" Home page card while proxying

• As a SuccessFactors administrator, I can see that The "My Profile" card is appearing on the Home Page when  user  in PROXY mode even if the "Grant Proxy Rights" have not been allowed for "Employee Profile" (In other words, when the Employee Profile checkbox is unchecked)
• The My profile Home page card always shows up, the error thrown is: "you don't have permission to access this page... You don't have permission to act on behalf of this person on this page. Please contact your administrator or the person you are acting as a proxy for... click this link to find any knowledge base article related to this error" -> and when clicking on the link  the user is redirected to an empty content in a launchpad knowledge search URL. Why this happens? 

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to proxy management and ensure that Employee profile option is unchecked
2. Later, when proxying with the user, notice that the My Profile home page card is showing up 
3. When clicking on the my Profile card notice that you will get an error confirming that you do not have permission to access the Employee Profile and showing the Error ID and the Fingerprint. 

This behavior is considered expected and is working as designed.

The "My profile" Home page card will always be visible when proxying, even if you don't have the My profile proxy permission. This is expected behavior, as the card is always visible, according to the KBA: 3113104 - Latest Home Page - Proxy Permission Mapping - SAP for Me ✅ 

Engineering team confirmed that this is a generic error page and the link in this window simply redirects to the KBA portal with a query string of the corresponding error fingerprint. If there are any notes/pages containing the error fingerprint, it will redirect there. If nothing is found, it will just say there aren’t any information on the error. Both behaviors are considered expected as clarified earlier as they are hardcoded and currently designed this way ✅
