3368182 - System Fails to Determine the Pricing Information Automatically From Purchasing Contract While Creating New Purchase Order for a Product

You have created a purchasing contract for a particular product and released. However when you create purchase order for the same supplier and product, system failed to recognize the pricing details from the contract automatically.

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Go to Common Tasks and select New Purchase Order
3. Enter the relevant Supplier, Company and Product details
4. Now enter the Quantity
5. System fails to determine the Price from Purchasing Contract

You have maintained Minimum Order Quantity for the product in purchasing contract. When you enter the quantity more than the Minimum Order Quantity, system will automatically determine the pricing information from Contract. 

You have to enter the quantity greater than Minimum Order Quantity or reduce the Minimum Order Quantity in Contract, so that for any quantity, system determines the price for a particular product. To do so; 

1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work center
2. Go to the Contracts view
3. Select the relevant Contract
4. Select Edit and navigate to Items tab
5. Under Basic Data tab, there is a field called - Minimum Order Quantity
6. Modify this value according to your business needs
