Symptom
After exporting and importing, the imported story didn't keep the same format as the source in Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors
- Embedded SAP Analytics Cloud
Reproducing the Issue
- Log on to SAP SuccessFactors and go to Reporting
- Create a new story.
- Create dimension link for model Job Information, Personal Information, Personal Information2.
- Add a crosstab and set all 3 models as data sources. In Rows, select 1 dimension from every models.
- There will be 1 measure from every models, totally 3 measures added automatically in the crosstab. Now for the column of two Count columns (from Personal Information and Personal Information2), right click and choose Hide Column.
- Now only 1 measure cal will be present in the crosstab. Edit its format, change the Decimal Place from Default to 0.
- Save this story.
- Now export this story to .acn file and then delete this story.
- Import .acn file to restore this story.
- Open the imported story.
- Find that there will be 2 issues:
- There will be Count column shown
- The Decimal Place for cal is changed to Default but no longer to be 0.
Cause
