3369006 - Behaviour of Applicant Status in Reporting Recruiting V2 and Recruiting V2 Secured domains

Symptom

When using the column entry Application and within it the field Application Status you note that the entries are not translated in other languages.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Report Center
  2. Select New
  3. Create a report of any type using either the domain Recruiting V2 or Recruiting V2 secured
  4. Select Filter
  5. Select Application column
  6. Select the field Application Status
  7. Select By My Selection
  8. Note that the options available are those of the status name in Edit Applicant Status Configuration

Cause

This is currently the system set up for the status name for the Applicant Statuses. This is a unique identifier for application statuses in the system.

Resolution

To use a report with translations for the applicant status please use the entry Applicant Status Label which will pull the translations of the internal label in Edit Applicant Status Configuration. Note that the language will come from the default language of the job requisition of the application.

Note: The picklist used for the application status in your Job Application templates must use the same translations as that of the Internal Label to avoid system conflict and unexpected behaviours.
