3369067 - When converting classic stories to the Optimized Design Experience story the scripting functionality is not available within SAP Analytics Cloud

Within SAP Analytics Cloud, when converting a classic story that uses the 'Responsive page' functionality to an 'Optimized Design Experience' story, the scripting functionality is not available.

1. Open an existing story (classic story using responsive pages)
2. Go to the File menu and select the 'Convert to Optimized Design Experience' option
   
3. Select the 'Convert and Save-As option and within the new 'Optimized Design Experience' story created the scripting functionality is not available.

This behavior occurs by design as when clicking the 'Convert to Optimized Design Experience' option the following dialog shows the limitations for the 'Responsive Pages' is displayed.

This is also provided within the SAP Analytics Cloud online help where within the 'Responsive Pages: Feature Compatibility of Responsive Layout after Conversion from Classic to Optimized Story Experience' section the following reference is provided related to scripting.

For the current release there is no ability to have scripting when converting a story that includes responsive pages therefore the current option is not to convert stories that include 'Responsive Pages' at the moment and wait for a future release of SAP Analytics Cloud.

Currently on the SAP Roadmap for Q4/2023 (Note: This timeframe could be adjusted so check the roadmap to ensure no change occurs), there is a planned feature to add support for scripting as well as advanced features for converting a responsive page to an optimized story experience within the next major QRC release for SAP Analytics Cloud.
