Is it possible to perform a candidate search using the Location criteria without filling out the zip code?

It's not possible to perform a search by Location without filling all the search criteria, including the zip code. If you left this field in blank, system will display the error below:

This happens because this kind of search is based on Radial Candidate Search, which uses the required Candidate Profile fields: zip and country.
