3369457 - Workflow Didn't Work For (Trigger Action - Assign Leads Using Rules)

You have noticed that since release 2308, your workflow for leads no longer works, which sets the lead responsible based on the lead assignment rules.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center
2. Go to Leads and open any
3. Observe: Owner shows blank
4. The Owner is not getting determined from Release 2308, the workflow no longer works (Trigger Action - Assign Leads Using Rules)

Usually a party role should only be determined when the respective determination step for the party is active
This means if a party determination step “Use Rules for Lead Assignment” is not selected for a respective party the party should not be determined via workflow also. 

To get this working you do not have to activate the distribution rules. You have to navigate to:

1. Go to the Business Configuration
2. Open activities for Leads 
3. Maintain Involved Parties 
4. Maintain determination step for Use Rules for Lead Assignment is checked for corresponding parties.
   
   This is valid as from the current release 2308.
