3369703 - Key Figures of PayStatement are not displayed under Payroll Information portlet in SF EC

Symptom

Payroll Key Figures (such as Gross Amount, Payment Amount, Custom Key figures (if configured) and Pay Date) are not displayed in Employee Central, People Profile (PP3) - Payroll Information section.

Please Note: New People Profile (Latest) comes with a new design and displays a separate Pay Statements card with four latest pay dates along with gross and payout amounts.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
‘Old’ People Profile (PP3) is enabled
Pay Statement (Direct) is enabled

Reproducing the Issue

Logon to SF system.
Go to My Employee File and scroll to 'Payroll Information' section. Pay Statement section with payroll key figures (such as Gross Amount, Payment Amount, Custom Key figures (if configured) and Pay Date) is not displayed, you only see the Payroll Information links.

Cause

Payroll Administration Permission is assigned to the employee, which prevents Pay Statement section with payroll key figures to be displayed. Employees should have only Payroll Self Service Permission to view their Key figures under Payroll Information section.

Resolution

Go to the corresponding Permission Role which is enabling Payroll Administration permission.
Go to Edit Granting under section "Grant this role to".
Enable this check "Exclude granted users from having the permission access to themselves" under Specify the target population whom the above granted users have permission to access which will restrict users to have admin permissions for themselves. When they land on Payroll Information section, user will have only Payroll Self Permission.
