3369883 - LDAP users are unable to connect to the repository after SSL is enabled - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Secure Connections have been enabled for Portal following the PowerDesigner Web documentation.
  • No user, either local or LDAP, can connect to the repository from PD Web.
    User is always rejected as unauthorized.
  • From nodeserver.log:
       [INFO] Loading https certificates from C:\SSL\Some Global Root CA Certificate.crt
       [ERROR] [redirectRequest]   Error: unable to verify the first certificate
       [ERROR] Invalid status code: UNABLE_TO_VERIFY_LEAF_SIGNATURE. Replace it with 500
  • All local and external users connect successfully from PD Desktop.
