3369963 - Linux: Instance startup fails with 'Interactive authentication required'

Symptom

During installation, an error is reported for the instance startup:

WARNING 2023-01-01 10:00:00.00 (root/sapinst) (startInstallation) [iaxxbjsmod.cpp:83] id=modlib.jslib.childAppReturn
Execution of the command "/usr/sap/SID/ASCS00/exe/sapcontrol -prot NI_HTTP -nr 01 -function StartService SID" finished with return code 1. Output:

StartService
FAIL: Service start failed: systemdI_sdbus_cmd: StartUnit 'SAPSID_00.service' - failed: Interactive authentication required.

Trying to start the instance as sidadm user fails with the similar error:

hostname:sidadm 1> systemctl start SAPSID_00
==== AUTHENTICATING FOR org.freedesktop.systemd1.manage-units ====
Authentication is required to start 'SAPSID_00.service'.
