Symptom

The documentation for IP Address Filtering is not quite clear if it is applicable for API users.

When the "Activate IP Filtering" check box is ticked, it appears that it is still allowing the API user to access to the server from any IP address.

Resolution

IP Address Filtering is only active at the Workspace level.

Users can still login to the server.

However, when the user accesses the workspace, then the IP Address Filter takes effect.
