3370139 - Error "The user (XXXXX) must have an active employment record to be terminated." - CS1H2023

Error message "The user (XXXXX) must have an active employment record to be terminated." is shown when terminating an employee.

This is a validation message introduced in 1H 2023 release. The validation message appears when the user is being terminated without an active employment. This ensures that an already terminated user is not terminated again.

Workaround: Disable the switch "Enable Centralized Services to Save Changes on the Manager Self-Service UI for Termination Details" in Company System and Logo Settings. Please note that this switch will become universal in 2H 2023 release. Hence we strongly recommend to enable this switch and adjust your business process/practice to adhere to this validation. 

Scenario: An scenarios where the validation message may appear is: When an inactive/retired user is being terminated.
