3370142 - Unable to Create Project Stock Order When All Materials Are Non Stock

The user cannot raise Project Stock Order for specific project due error message 'Project stock order not created; all materials are non stock'. 

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Projects view. 
3. Search for project ABC (ABC is the project's ID). 
4. Click in Edit button.
5. Navigate to Product Overview tab.
6. Select product XYZ (XYZ is the ID of the product). 
7. Click in Create Project Stock Order button and select 'For Whole Project' or 'For Released Project tasks'.
8. You get error message: 'Project stock order not created; all materials are non stock'.

Also you cannot edit the product to 'From Stock':

1. Open Project ABC. 
2. Navigate to Project Plan tab, Gantt Chart subtab and Materials sub subtab. 
3. You can see that material XYZ is not flagged for 'From Stock' column. It is not editable.  
4. Also the Delete button is grayed out. 

You cannot create Project Stock Order for a material that is 'non-stock'. 

You can follow the workaround below:  

1. Open Project ABC. 
2. Navigate to Project Plan tab and Gantt Chart subtab.
3. Create a new Task under the main task ABC. You can create task ABC-1, for example. 
4. Select the newly created task. 
5. Navigate to Materials sub subtab. 
6. Click in Add Row button. 
7. Enter product XYZ, check mark the option 'From Stock' and enter the planned quantity.
8. Click in Save button. 
9. Navigate to Product Overview tab. 
10. Select product XYZ (the one which is 'From stock'). 
11. Click in Create Project Stock Order button and select 'For Whole Project' or 'For Released Project tasks'.
