3370523 - Migration Tool Takes a Long Time to Open

When using a Migration Tool (for example, the Migration Tool for Identified Stock), it is observed that the staging area takes a long time to load after opening the tool page. 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Enter the Overview view.
3. Search for the respective migration activity (for example, Migration of Identified Stock).
4. In the activity, open the sub activity Migrate XYZ Using the Migration Tool (where XYZ represents the object being migrated).

A new browser tab will open for the Migration Tool. However it takes a long time to load completely.

When the Migration Tool is loaded, all templates uploaded to the tool are fetched from the system, including completed files. If the number of files is high, the performance of the loading will be reduced.

You can remove completed migration files from the tool to increase the loading performance.

This can be done following the below steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Enter the Overview view.
3. Search for the respective migration activity (for example, Migration of Identified Stock).
4. In the activity, open the sub activity Migrate XYZ Using the Migration Tool (where XYZ represents the object being migrated).
5. In the Show dropdown list, select Completed Files.
6. Select the files to be deleted.
7. Select the Actions button.
8. Select Delete.
