3370523 - Migration Tool Takes a Long Time to Open

You are using a Migration Tool (for example, the Migration Tool for Identified Stock), and notice that upon opening the tool page, it takes a long time to load the staging area.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Enter the Overview view.
3. Search for the respective migration activity (for example, Migration of Identified Stock).
4. In the activity, open the sub activity Migrate XYZ Using the Migration Tool (where XYZ represents the object being migrated).

A new browser tab will open for the Migration Tool. However it takes a long time to completely load.

When the Migration Tool is loaded, all templates uploaded to the tool are fetched from the system, including completed files. If the number of files is high, the performance of the loading will be reduced.

You can remove completed migration files from the tool to increase the loading performance.

This can be done following the below steps:

1. Follow the same steps from the Steps to Reproduce section of this KBA document.
2. In the Show dropdown list, select Completed Files.
3. Select the files to be deleted.
4. Click on the Actions button.
5. Click on Delete.
