3371114 - Project locked when different users work on different tasks

Project locked when used parallelly by multiple users 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center
2. Go to Projects view and search for the ABC Project
3. Open the task XX and make desired changes 
4. Parallelly another user open the task YY of the same Project ABC 
5. Project gets locked

This is the General System Behavior

In general, when same documents is accessed by multiple users at the same time then lock happens, in this case though project tasks are different but it belongs to the same project. Hence lock happens. 

When this kind of lock happens, close the system from all the users end who had opened the project, and reopen it after 5mins . System automatically removes the block.

To avoid such Project locks, make sure that the project is not used by multiple users at the same time.
